Where are you located?
We are currently offering all classes online.
What age do you begin lessons?
That depends on the class. Early childhood music classes begin as early as 0-5. While group piano classes can start as early as 3 or 4 years old. Private piano or voice lessons can begin at the age of 6 or 7.
How many students are in a group class?
Voice, piano, and guitar classes can include up to 10 students per class.
Is it too late to come into a class that has already started?
Not at all! Classes are generally open for enrollment for about 4 weeks. They will remain open until that period closes, or if the class is full.
How often should I practice?
Younger students should start with about 12-20 minutes each day to create a habit of sitting down to learn how to play an instrument. Those that are older should commit to practicing for about 30 minutes each day. As you continue to progress, you will find that you will want to increase your daily practice times.
Am I too old to take lessons?
There are many adults who begin taking lessons even though the’ve never had any prior experience learning an instrument. We find that adults are serious about learning because it’s something they’ve always wanted to do. It just take a bit of commitment and diligence. Students who commit to 30 minutes each day will progress very fast.
Do you primarily teach beginners?
We teach all skill levels-Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Do I need a piano at home to take piano lessons?
Although having a baby grand piano to practice on is ideal, it is not necessary. We recommend having a touch sensitive portable keyboard that has at least 61 keys.
